My name is George Katsriku and I consider myself to be an E-commerce enthusiast. I've gone through years of studies at St. Mary's University (SMU) and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Computing Information Systems and to better my abilities in implementing more complex solutions for the web. I plan to take advanced IT courses at Red Arrow Digital College this year.
I feel my studies have empowered me with the ability to think critically as well as creatively. I'm also able to communicate ideas I have effectively both visually and orally. I've discovered that I enjoy providing engaging presentations, sharing ideas and directing dialogues.
With my spare time I'm usually doing one of the following four things: Researching new technologies, developing a website, playing basketball or reading. With my years of experience and partnerships with other developers, I plan to take web applications to it's limits and create unique cutting edge solutions for businesses to run efficiently.
The majority of my work experiences have been with tools such as classic ASP, .NET, PHP, MySQL, MS SQL, SQL server, Apache, IIS, etc. I value working collaboratively but that being said I also work well independently. I think one of the best / worst details about me is that when I immerse myself within a project I like, I work whole heartedly and find it difficult to stop working.
